Nikon will soon release the ZR

Powered by RED ! Nikon will soon release the ZR video camera. According to Nikon Rumors, Nikon will release a new product around September 10th, possibly the long-rumored ZR camera focused on video shooting. The "R" in "ZR" reportedly stands for RED, indicating that the model will feature integrated RED technology.

Previous reports indicate that the Nikon ZR will feature the same image sensor as the Z6III, but will feature a completely new body design. It's understood the ZR will feature a larger LCD screen, eliminating the camcorder and electronic viewfinder. The ZR will likely incorporate design features from existing RED models, the Sony FX3, and the Nikon Z30. Analysts suggest that, based on the Z6i, the ZR isn't positioned as a high-priced professional camera like the RED, but rather as an affordable product for photographers and enthusiasts.
